Eureka Coffee has been part of the exciting growth of farmers' markets in Melbourne since our involvement in Melbourne's first, the Collingwood Children's Farm Farmers' Market, back in 2003. Since then we have been involved from the start at the following popular Farmers' Markets across Melbourne: Slow Food Abbotsford Convent Farmers' Market; Kingston Farmers' Market (Highett); VegOut Farmers' Market (St Kilda); and Boroondara Farmers' Market (Hawthorn).
We recognize the importance of legitimate farmers markets and the opportunity they provide for growers and producers to connect with the consumer, and visa versa. The markets are characterized by offering local, seasonal, fresh, high quality produce and artisan supplies.
Our history and experience in coffee growing enables us to impart some knowledge and appreciation of coffee from a different perspective to our customers and visitors. We hope that in addition to enjoying our freshly roasted espresso, visitors to our markets can also have a new appreciation of coffee beyond the roasted product - including the coffee plant, coffee grower, and the complexity and diversity of this crop and numerous processing variations.
