About
Us
Eureka Coffee commenced in 2000 with the first small harvest of
Barrie & Wendy Edmonds coffee bushes in the Byron Bay
hinterland. The Edmonds family helped pick the crop that October,
which was later used to test and perfect our various blends.
Sam Edmonds and her husband Mark Ryan have established Eureka Coffee
in Melbourne and have overseen the development of the brand, an
expanding wholesales market, a small retail operation, as well as
attending regular promotional events, festivals and catered functions
with the coffee carts arm of the business.
Barrie & Wendy, Sams parents have continued to expand their
plantation and installed a new state of the art
processing plant on their property during the 2002 picking season.
Coffee is harvested as each cherry gradually ripens,
which takes place from around August to December.
