Eureka Coffee was established in 2000 by Mark Ryan and Samantha Edmonds following the establishment of the family coffee plantation in the Byron Bay hinterland by Sam's parents Barrie and Wendy Edmonds in 1995.

Since this time, Mark and Sam have developed the Eureka Coffee brand to cover a range of premium coffees supplied by its family plantation and through direct relationships with coffee growers in the Byron Bay hinterland and other selected coffee growing regions in Australia, including the Atherton Tablelands.

In 2005, the Growers Espresso retail store and Growers Espresso label coffees were launched to include imported coffees and teas, with particular emphasis on coffees from the region, including Indonesia, East Timor and Papua New Guinea.

Eureka Coffee and Growers Espresso operate from a welcoming double storey corner store in inner city North Fitzroy (Melbourne). The building has witnessed many lives over the past 120 years, but now plays host to a lively, warm espresso bar, coffee roastery and soon to open - relaxing courtyard.
