Australian International Coffee Awards

Our Growers Espresso Seasonal Espresso Blend and Growers Espresso Ethiopia Duromina coffees have recently been awarded Bronze Medals in the Australian International Coffee Awards.

The Seasonal Blend was awarded its medal in the hotly contested Espresso/Milk Class while the Duromina was awarded in the Pour Over/Filter Class.

The 2016 awards received 658 entries from 143 local and international coffee roasters in 2016, including coffees from New Zealand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Singapore, Canada, USA and UK.

A total of 234 medals including 10 gold, 68 silver and 156 bronze were awarded over four days of judging which took place at Melbourne Showgrounds in mid-March, with a panel of 30 industry experts.

Our coffees have performed well in past years with several Silver and Bronze medals in this competition. The success is also on the back of our success at Australia’s other major coffee roasters competition, The Golden Bean, where we have been awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals consistently over the past 10 years.
